2024 Season Championship Rules
Upon registering for each event, drivers must choose their class according to SCCA Solo Rules as well as a PAX Category (Pro, Masters, Ladies, Novice, or Open). If Open is selected, the driver’s class will determine which Open bump class he/she will compete in.
Open Bump Classes
- S1 (SS, AS, BS, CS, FS)
- S2 (DS, ES, GS, HS, SSC)
- ST (All Street Touring classes)
- CAM (All CAM classes)
- R (XB, XA, all R-compound classes)
Category requirements
- Pro, Open: None
- Masters: Age 55 and older
- Ladies: Female
- Novice: No more than 5 prior events experience (from any region). Meeting this requirement allows the driver to run in the Novice category for the entire season.
Drivers in the Pro, Masters, Ladies, and Novice categories will compete only within their category for season points. Drivers in the Open category will compete only within their bump class for season points. All categories and bump classes will be indexed according to the standard PAX system.
To be eligible for a season trophy, drivers must be an SCCA member by July 1st and have competed in at least one plus half of the events held (rounding up), of the Arkansas Region sponsored events for the year. The exception is the Novice category where the minimum number of events is one fewer than the other categories.
Drivers may switch categories at any point during the season. However, points from prior events remain in the previously entered category and do not transfer to the new category. If a trophy-eligible driver competed in multiple categories, he/she is only eligible for a trophy in the category with their highest point total.
Each driver drops their lowest scoring (x) number of events according to the following chart.
